Artist Development

To be involved with an artist in the early stages of their career is such an exciting and highly creative time. When a band or artist has just been signed or even better, are unsigned, there’s room to experiment without the pressure of album deadlines or the weight of finding the hugely subjective ‘first single’, nobodies worrying about pictures or videos or stylists…basically it’s a time when everyone can concentrate on the most important aspect of working in music, the music. I’m privileged enough to have worked with a number of artists at the development stage in their career and watched them go on to great things. What’s more, the enthusiasm and optimism of someone making their first album creates such a productive environment to work in and is infectious.
